THE BOYS - Chris & Brian Blackburn - Chris sings a wide variety of songs with a powerful voice that makes you sit up and listen. Classically trained he has starred in operas and does an excellent Tom Jones Tribute. Brian has a lighter voice and tends to sing more of the pop/rock/swing songs and when the two sing together the voices compliment each other giving excellent harmonies. Able to adapt to any audience with a wide variety of popular songs, it is guaranteed there will be a lot of waving hands and dancing at end of the night. A number of costume changes add to the fun and some comedy magic if required. Also able to do ‘Rat Pack’ tribute and 70’s or 80’s tribute nights.

We specialise in Entertainment for Weddings and all special occasions and have many satisfied customers across the country. We can follow a particular theme if required, eg. Swing, 70's or any suggestions you may have. Many people think that it is a little boring to have just music playing from 7.30 to the end of the night and we have found that it is becoming increasingly popular to have live entertainment at a function as well as a disco as it breaks the night up. This is a picture of our typical stage set, with flame lights and intelligent controlled moving head lights and stage lights.
We can provide a complete package for you. We will carefully plan each step of the night with you, eg. Buffet time, what song you would like for your first dance, any speeches etc. We are continually adding new songs to our performance but if there is any song in particular you would like, we will do our best to learn it for you.
You will also receive a ‘memento cd’ featuring some of the music from your night and the first dance.
A suggested running order for the night would be as follows:
7.30 Background music as guests arrive 8.45 Retro Brothers 9.15 Buffet 10.00 Retro Brothers approx 11.00 Disco to finish
Obviously the night will run according to your wishes and these times are a guide only. If you have already booked a D.J. we could do 2 x 45 minute spots which would bring live entertainment to you evening.
A WORD OF WARNING
It goes without saying that you will have spent a lot of time and money planning your special occasion, especially for a Wedding. The entertainment for your reception will make or break the evening so do not ring round for the cheapest DJ you can find. I would strongly recommend you take the trouble to go and see any artist or disco before you book them so you know what to expect.
